Hydrolats are made from the steam distillation of plant materials, fruits and petals. They are a great way to refresh and rehydrate the skin and easy to use. Hydrolats are also called hydrosols and they are considered safer to use than essential oils as they contain less of the oil and present less of a risk of irritation or reaction.
🥀Damascus Rose Hydrolat is probably one of the most popular ones but there are many, like lavender, cassis, camomile, orange, etc.
🥀Damask Rose hydrolat hydrates, cleanses pores, removes signs of fatigue and offers anti-fungal properties.
Hydrosols have many skin beautifying benefits that can tone, tighten and soothe the skin. Lavender is used to calm bug bites or skin irritations, freshen bed linens and even spritzed for an aromatherapy mood spray.

I use hydrosols after cleansing, before I put my moisturizer and sun protection on. I often use cornflower and rose. Lavender is good for itchy bug bites lol
I’m so happy to know more people are talking about hydrolats. French women use them always in our beauty routine and even as a cleanser in a.m. 😉 Bienfaits pour la peau!
Camomille! My skin is sensitive. I love the way my hydrosol calms and makes it less red.
